Michigan Amuses Me

Well, it appears that the state of Michigan is trying to make us laugh. Remember the butterfly ballots of 2000? Those were boring, especially when you consider that it was Al Gore talking about them. Well Michigan has a much more entertaining ballot "issue" this election cycle.

The first paragraph of the AP story just about sums it up.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Ottawa County will pay about $40,000 to correct an embarrassing typo on its Nov. 7 election ballot: The "L" was left out of "public."

You mean to tell me you passed out 170,000 ballots with the "l" left out of public. Are you kidding me? Who let that slip by them?

What else do you expect though? This is coming out of a state that produces people that like to show you where they are from by pointing to it on THEIR OWN HAND!!! What is that about? Who does that? If I were from South Florida I wouldnt whip out my wang and show you my mushroom tip if you asked where I was from. Actually, I probably would. Heck, I might just do that the next time someone asks me...

People from the north are weird and they have pubes on their ballots...
